What security measures do you have in place to protect stored items?
Individually alarmed monitored units, smoke detectors, surveillance cameras, electrified fence around the perimeter of the building, security lighting, access control gate and building system
What are your access hours?
We are open 6am to 10pm but can be adjusted for your specific needs. Contact us if you require access outside of these hours
Do you offer any discounts or promotions for long-term rentals?
Yes we do. Give us a call for long term storage prices.
Are there any restrictions on the types of items that can be stored?
We ask that you do not store these items for safety reasons explosives, inflammable liquids, perishable food items that can decompose, living animals and plants, stolen or illegal goods, drugs firearms
What sets your storage facility apart from others in the area?
Not all storage faculties do individual unit alarms or complete perimeter electric fencing or latest technology cameras that read your number plates.
How do you handle pest control in the storage units?
We have pest control systems around the perimeter of the building.
What is the process for moving items in and out of the facility?
You can use the online booking system of simply pop into Heartland Containers office at 45 Washdyke Flat road and we will get you sorted!
Are there insurance options available for stored items?
As we are an insurance approved faculty, we ask clients to contact their own insurance provider to extend their house hold insurance to cover the items while in storage
What is your policy on late payments or missed payments?
You will be notified by email and phone call to see if we can help.
Do you offer online account management for easy access to billing and account information?
Yes we do its all available in the storman app
How often do you conduct maintenance checks on the storage units?
We are in and around the storage units every day
Are there any additional fees or charges that I should be aware of?
In some cases there will be extra fees but we would explain these at the time of you signing up for a unit.
Can I easily upgrade or downsize my storage unit if needed?
Yes easy to do touch base with us and we will get you sorted.
How do I know what size unit I need?
We will provide pictures online and you are more than welcome to come view our faculty from 8.30am till 4.30pm weekdays
Do you have a fixed storage period?
Just 1 month minimum
Who has access to my unit?
Just you, the customer. You can also fit your own padlock on your unit - you keep your own keys.
How do I pay for my storage?
Direct debit, direct bank payments will be set up.
Is there power?
for your safety and ours, there is no power outlets in these units.
Can I book a storage unit in advance?
Yes simply talk to us about your requirements
